Our goal is to build the best bike for every cyclist. With the right frame for a comfortable, ergonomic riding position, the best drivetrain to suit your needs, and the unique ability to customize your bike entirely to your taste and color preferences.

Every Santos bike features Santos Only components, specially designed by us for the ultimate cycling experience. Sometimes prominently visible, sometimes barely noticeable. These components enhance the functionality, modularity, and durability of your bike.

All Santos bikes are custom-built in our workshop just outside Amsterdam. Santos has a large dealer network, primarily in the Netherlands and Belgium. Our bikes can be shipped worldwide.

Which Santos frame suits you?

The frame is the foundation of your bike, the platform. Your cycling plans determine the best choice. Below are five key factors to consider.

Luggage

How much luggage do you want to carry at most?

If you're carrying a lot of luggage, you’ll need a stronger frame than if you’re not. That’s why it’s important to carefully consider how you’ll be using your bike. Will you only be using rear panniers, or do you also want a lowrider with front panniers? And do you need extra space for water bottles?

Paved or Unpaved

Where will you be riding?

Do you prefer smooth paved roads or mostly off-road adventures? On vacation, you might find yourself on small, bumpy roads where wider tires with lower pressure can add comfort. But for a daily commute, efficiency and speed might be more important. Think carefully about where you'll be riding most often.

Suspension fork?

We offer both rigid and suspension forks, and the choice comes down to personal preference. However, it does impact which frame is best suited for you.

Low step-through Frame?

We offer three types of frames: women's, men's, and mixte. If you find a low step-through important, choose a women's or mixte frame.

E-bike

Are you looking for an E-bike?

A Santos E-bike is flexible and modular. This means that we can build most frames as an E-bike. You can electrify your Santos now or later! Check out our E-bikes.

Choose the right gearing system

Rohloff Hub

With 14 gears in the hub.
Suitable for both belt and chain drives.

Pinion Gearbox

With 12 or 18 gears in the bottom bracket.
Suitable for belt drive.

Belt Drive

A Santos with a belt drive is clean, quiet, and fast. This low-maintenance system requires no lubrication and always runs smoothly—giving you more time to ride!

The Santos belt drive is built to last. Our frames are designed specifically for it, using extra-durable large sprockets combined with the most wear-resistant belt available: the Gates CDX Original. Learn more

3. Customize

Adjust it the way you want

Handlebars, saddle, tires, rims, fenders, brakes, lights, fork, pump, bar ends, racks. You decide what you need, which ones you want, and how you want them. And of course, you get to choose the color!

Santos Colors

Love color? Then it’s time to start thinking about it! Choose from 58 frame colors, 14 lettering options, and 6 different Rohloff, Pinion, or SON colors to create your perfect combination.

Test ride

Rims, fenders, brakes, lights, pump, handlebars, bar ends, saddle, tires, racks—you decide if you want them and which ones suit you best.

You can test ride a Santos at our workshop or at one of our dealers. Our fitting bike lets you try different handlebars and saddles to find your perfect riding position.
