SCC03 is Mountain Bike of the Year 2010
The maintenance-free Santos SCC03 with Rohloff hub has been voted by readers of FIETS, the biggest cycling magazine in The Netherlands, to be "Mountain Bike of the Year 2010".

In 2009, the SCC03, irrespective of the aluminium frame (or most likely thanks to its aluminium frame :-)) also remained the most successful frame in the Dutch mountain bike competition.
Of course, that does not go unnoticed. Several other teams are now also riding on this Santos with its fantastic riding characteristics.
Mountainbike met topprestaties
The design is based on the proposition: less is more! By leaving out all the unnecessary extras and making use of triple-butted ultralite tubes, it became possible to make an extremely light frame with a unique rigidity. These two properties ensure that this no-nonsense mountain bike is ready for the really tough race work!The ultimate test of the SCC03 was its entry into the Australian Crocodile Trophy. This resulted in seven stage wins and the glorious victory.

The SCC03 is not only an absolutely top bike in its achievements. The unique and stylish design reflects the purist vision of Santos. Not too much, but everything you could wish for. We proudly put our signature on this toned lightweight that is one of the finest appearances in the high-end mountain bike arena.
The frame of the SCC03 is available in three different versions. One for mounting disc brakes (without the ugly canti-cam on your vertical dropout), one for mounting the special Firmtech set of Magura HS33 brakes (so difficult to make that only a few top brands can do it), and a version for mounting a Rohloff hub and Firmtech brakes.
By using the customizer on this website you can further modify these beautiful frames to suit your wishes and insights. Some of the components really are standard .... but absolutely top quality.
